Terms and Conditions

Introduction and acceptance

Welcome to GETITVIP. These Terms and Conditions describe the rules for using getitvip.com and, where permitted by law, requesting goods or services displayed on this website. Please read them before using the website or submitting an order. By continuing to use the website, you agree to follow these terms and the policies linked on this page. If you do not agree, please stop using the website. These terms do not replace rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Eligibility and restricted products

Customers must be legally eligible to receive the goods they request. We may decline an order or ask for information reasonably necessary to check eligibility, identity, location or other legal requirements. Age restrictions alone do not make a restricted product lawful to sell. In Australia, therapeutic vaping goods are subject to special controls, including restrictions on who may supply them and the circumstances of supply. We will not accept or fulfil an order where the sale, dispensing, supply, delivery or advertising would be prohibited. The appearance of a product or brand on a webpage is not a representation that it is available for lawful supply.

Product information and availability

We aim to describe lawful products accurately, including their essential features and any applicable warnings. Images and colour representation may vary between devices. Prices, availability, specifications and promotional information can change before an order is accepted. If an item is unavailable or a material error is identified, we may contact you with updated information and offer a lawful alternative or a refund where appropriate.

Order submission and acceptance

Submitting a checkout request does not necessarily create a binding supply agreement. We may review eligibility, payment, stock availability, shipping destination and legal restrictions before accepting an order. Acceptance will be communicated through an order confirmation or another clear message. We may refuse or cancel an order where we cannot lawfully complete it, and will handle any payment already received in accordance with applicable law.

Prices, payment and promotions

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, displayed prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). The checkout will identify the payment methods, applicable shipping charges and any taxes or fees that apply. Payment processing may be carried out by authorised providers. Discount codes and promotional offers are subject to their stated conditions and may not be combined unless expressly permitted. If payment cannot be authorised, an order may remain unprocessed or be cancelled.

Website content and acceptable use

The text, layout, graphics and other website materials are provided for normal personal browsing and may be protected by intellectual property rights. You must not interfere with website security, attempt unauthorised access, submit false details, or use the service for unlawful activity. Links to external services are provided for convenience; external services operate under their own policies.

Mandatory rights and limitations

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any non-excludable rights, remedies or consumer guarantees, including those under the Australian Consumer Law where applicable. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for interruptions or events outside our reasonable control; however, this sentence does not limit any statutory obligations that apply to us. Any matter not addressed here is governed by applicable law.

Changes, questions and contact

We may update these website terms to reflect operational, legal or service changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revision date. Changes will not retrospectively remove legal rights related to an order already accepted. For questions about a policy or an order, contact the address in the Contact section below.

Privacy Policy

Our approach to privacy

GETITVIP respects the privacy of visitors and customers. This policy explains the types of personal information we may handle, why we use them, when they may be shared, and how you may request access, correction or raise a privacy concern. Where the Australian Privacy Principles apply to our activities, we aim to manage information consistently with those principles and other applicable laws.

Information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with us, information may include your name, contact details, delivery address, order or payment reference, customer-service correspondence, account details and technical information about website visits. We generally do not need complete payment-card numbers because payment providers process those details. We do not ask for more identity information than is reasonably necessary for a lawful and specified purpose.

Identity and eligibility checks

If the law requires us to verify age, identity or another eligibility condition for a permitted transaction, we may request suitable evidence or use an authorised verification service. We will explain why the information is requested and how it is handled. Please do not send identity documents to ordinary email unless we have provided a suitable secure submission method. We do not collect identity documents merely because a visitor browses the website.

How information is used

We may use information to respond to enquiries, manage lawful orders, process payments through providers, arrange eligible deliveries, address disputes, maintain security, prevent misuse, meet legal obligations and improve website usability. Marketing messages will be handled in accordance with relevant consent and opt-out rules. We do not treat the submission of an order as blanket permission to use personal information for unrelated purposes.

Service providers and disclosures

Relevant details may be shared with service providers that support hosting, payments, delivery, customer support, security or compliance, but only for an appropriate purpose and subject to applicable obligations. If a provider or storage service is located outside Australia, information may be processed overseas. The countries involved and protections used should be confirmed against our actual technology and service arrangements before this policy is published.

Cookies and usage data

Our website may use essential cookies for navigation, checkout, shopping-cart functions and security, and optional analytics or preference tools where configured. Browser settings may let you manage cookies, although disabling essential functions could affect website performance. Where specific consent is required for non-essential tracking, we will request it in the manner required by law.

Security, retention and accuracy

We take reasonable steps appropriate to the information and systems involved to reduce the risk of misuse, unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Information is retained only as long as needed for legitimate operations or legal obligations and is then deleted or de-identified when appropriate. Please contact us if you believe an account, order or stored detail is incorrect or insecure.

Access, correction and complaints

You can request access to personal information we hold about you, ask for correction of inaccurate details, or submit a privacy complaint using the contact email shown below. We will review the request, verify identity where appropriate, and respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied, you may have the option to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or another relevant regulator, depending on the circumstances.

Shipping Policy

Delivery areas and eligibility

Delivery is available only to destinations offered at checkout and only for goods that can lawfully be shipped and received in that location. The sample configuration on this page is for Australia; any additional country or region must be verified and enabled by the store operator. An address being accepted by a form does not override a legal restriction on the product.

Processing and dispatch

For eligible orders, processing begins after payment and any required eligibility or stock checks. Business days generally exclude weekends and public holidays in the relevant dispatch location. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time. We will notify you if an expected dispatch is materially delayed or if further information is necessary to complete an order lawfully.

Estimated delivery timeframes

Reference estimates for policy configuration are 3–7 business days for standard delivery and 1–3 business days for express delivery. These figures were used as examples from the requested reference page and MUST be checked against GETITVIP actual courier services, dispatch locations and operating policies before publication. Any estimate confirmed at checkout is not an absolute guarantee and may be affected by destination, carrier conditions, holidays or external disruptions.

Delivery fees and tracking

Available shipping methods and charges will be displayed before an order is confirmed. Tracking details may be provided when the carrier supports them. Customers should review their shipping address and contact details carefully because incomplete or inaccurate information can cause delay, return or additional carrier charges. Any charges will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the checkout terms.

Restricted delivery and recipient checks

Where delivery of a particular lawful product requires age, identity, licence, prescription, professional supply or another condition, the applicable requirements must be satisfied before dispatch and at delivery where necessary. We do not promise delivery to recipients who cannot legally receive an item, and we may arrange cancellation and an appropriate refund when lawful fulfilment is not possible.

Delayed, lost or damaged parcels

If an eligible parcel appears delayed or damaged, contact customer support with your order number, the email used at checkout and any tracking details. We may investigate with the carrier or request supporting photos where suitable. Your statutory rights remain unaffected by delivery estimates or carrier investigations. Where we are legally responsible for a failure, the applicable remedy will be provided.

Changes to an order or address

Contact us promptly if an eligible order needs an address correction or delivery change. Requests may be possible before dispatch but cannot be guaranteed after a parcel enters a carrier network. We will explain available options and any lawful charges before taking further action.

Return Policy

Your statutory consumer rights

Goods and services supplied to Australian consumers may be covered by non-excludable consumer guarantees. If a product fails a consumer guarantee, the appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement or refund depending on the issue and the law. No statement on this page overrides those rights. A blanket “no refunds under any circumstances” rule does not apply.

Change-of-mind requests

Unless a separate change-of-mind benefit is expressly offered for an eligible product, we are not required to accept a return solely because a customer has changed their mind. We may choose to consider a discretionary request depending on the product, its condition and any legal or hygiene restrictions. This does not affect rights for a faulty, misdescribed, unsafe or otherwise non-compliant product.

Order cancellation and amendments

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an eligible order. We will try to assist before dispatch or lawful supply is completed; changes may not be possible once an order has been processed or shipped. Where a cancellation or refund is required by law, it will be handled accordingly regardless of the order stage.

Incorrect, incomplete or damaged orders

Please check your delivery when practical. As an operational preference, we ask customers to report missing items, transit damage or incorrect contents within 48 hours of receipt where possible, attaching the order number, photographs and a short explanation. This 48-hour request is not a deadline for statutory consumer guarantees and does not extinguish any rights under law.

Faulty products and assessment

If you believe goods are faulty or not as described, contact support before returning anything so that we can give appropriate instructions. We may request information necessary to assess the issue. Depending on the circumstances and legal requirements, a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy may apply. We will not impose a restriction that removes a mandatory consumer remedy.

Hygiene and safe handling

For health, safety or hygiene reasons, some opened items may not qualify for a voluntary change-of-mind return. Goods should not be used, repackaged or shipped in an unsafe or unlawful way. If an item requires special handling, we will explain the next lawful step. Hygiene exclusions do not remove consumer rights for faulty or non-compliant goods.

Refund processing

When a refund is approved or required, we will explain the method, amount and timing and generally use the original payment channel where practicable. The time for funds to appear may depend on the payment provider or bank. If we cancel an order because we cannot legally fulfil it, we will return funds received as required by law.

How to request help

Email our support team with your order number and the email used at checkout. Describe the problem clearly and include relevant photographs if appropriate. We will review your request and provide instructions about the next steps. Do not send used or restricted products back without receiving lawful handling guidance.
